By the time I left this afternoon the light was such a beautiful golden and casting wonderful shadows. I took this pic at the front of a property just down the road.

ReplyDeleteHello Jill, I love the beautiful flowers and the cute rustic emus..And the kitty looking out the window is an adorable capture! Lovely images. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteLovely cat :)
ReplyDeleteI bet even I could learn to be a professional-quality photographer in that setting and with you as a teacher! Beautiful gardens. Thanks for sharing .
ReplyDeleteHow do I say that those 'emus' are blue wrens?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jill, for coming and sharing your considerable expertise. You really inspired those in the workshop. I look forward to many more such workshops - the food one sounds particularly appealing.
oops! sorry Denise! blue wrens!
DeleteAnd thank you so much again Denise for the opportunity and your encouragement.
A wonderful location for your photography work-shop Jill ... Lots of light and shade & I'm sure a real fun day. I love that little puddy-tat looking out the window.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of the birdies on wire through the fence. What a beautiful place to take photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place!

ReplyDeleteMiss Muffin kitty cat ??? Appropriate name for the tiger... ;-)

Regards from Germany,
Uwe.
thank you all dear wonderful readers. I really appreciate you stopping by. I am trying to get to your blogs, my apologies in advance if I don't make it this week. Life here is speeding up and getting a little out of control. I think I need to go and sit on that verandah for a while with a glass of wine and a cheeseboard.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty place :D
ReplyDeleteLovely images, all, but I love the allee formed by the trees and the fence.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jill for this beautiful post. We learned so much from you at the workshop, and clearly, there is a lot more learning that's possible. We look forward to more exchanges with you in the near future.
ReplyDeleteThe property is just gorgeous - they have had some rain I think? The old chairs on the verandah is a lovely shot that shows the character of the place. The creativity of the emus is inspiring. A beautiful look around Lyndendale.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, Jill, your photos are stunning. It's such a beautiful property to photograph. I love the cat and the pic of the other property. You know, if you didn't say they were wrens, I'd think they were emus too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Jill. I love how green and lush everything is.
ReplyDeleteJill, I am so sorry, just realizing when I went looking for you on Mosaic Monday and saw nothing yet, never even saw your entry last week. I have been such a mess! This is all so lovely my friend, and looks like such a treat to have visited. That last image that you took with the sunlight, shadows between the tree row and fence line, just heavenly to me...love it! I am letting everyone know, as some have sent messages... I'll be back next week. Having some difficulty adjusting to new medication and old ones, but will in time. Take care Jill~
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by Mary and for your lovely comments. It is good to hear from you. Yes that row of tall trees and the long shadows really struck me as I came around the corner of the road. Sorry to hear you haven't been well. My life has been madness this week, lots of issues piling up, so I have decided to do myself a favour and not blog this week. Hopefully back next week. Thanks for checking on me! I hope you are enjoying the warmer days of summer.
DeleteI loved the tin wrens at the fence
