Gorgeous Grevillea's

There are many types of Grevillea in Australia - and there always seems to be one or two flowering around my area.

I love the way the parts of the flower start all curled up and then slowly open out

This one I didn't notice the ant till I downloaded! - see along the lower edge of the pic...

And this is a Flame Grevillea from the northern wheatbelt of Western Australia

And the Silver Leaf Grevillea from the Kimberley

Have a wonderful week - life is too short so enjoy every minute - and hug the ones you love.
Thankyou for stopping by to have a look at my blog - I look forward to hearing from you - and your comments are always appreciated and enjoyed.

I am joining Mary and other wonderful photographers from all around the world at Mosaic Monday. Click on the link to see their work - Mosaic Monday at Little Red House

  1. These flowers are so unusual to me and absolutely beautiful. One looks like a glorified dust mop except that I think you are saying the petals will unfold from their loops. Just amazing and great colors!

(I put some pound cake in my pint jars along with the cream and berries. Cake is always good, right?)

  2. Wow, what stunning flowers. I have never seen anything like those! Nancy

  3. Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing! Have a great week!

  4. Fantastic images of our wonderful Grevillea flowers. Great mosaic of so many different varieties.

  5. Hi Jill! What beautiful flowers and of course they make a beautiful mosaic.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  6. Stunning images, I've not come across a Grevillea before.
The flowers are so unusual, they could be sea creatures drifting along in ocean currents at the bottom of the sea.
Happy MM and thanks for stopping by in Normandy.

  7. These are so lovely - blossoms and your presentations. I really love the second one, soft blue and pink. Sweet.

  8. My rose is "Tropicana," a hybrid tea rose. It smells good as well as being beautiful. Thanks for visiting Porch Days. Nancy
