We are in the middle of a heat wave here in the south west of Western Australia - average temperatures 36-40 degrees Celsius. My computer doesn't want to play today (maybe it has decided that 40 degrees Celsius is far too hot to work in - I tend to agree), so for this week I am just posting some recent cooling water photos from along our estuary.
Thank
you so much for stopping by. I value your comments and look forward to
hearing from you. I will try to visit your blogs in return. Have a
wonderful week. I hope next week my computer will play nice!

Sadly on Sunday a bush-fire started up in an area adjacent to January's terrible bushfires. (Western Australia is burning)
Below is a pic I took from along our river walk. Thankfully today, Tuesday, the bushfire has been downgraded to "watch and act". For more information please click here - DFES- Alerts and Warnings

Beautiful images. That second one is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of summer. There's talk of snow around here, so I confess I'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a regular visitor at image-in-in's weekly linkup. Glad you shared with us again at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/02/potted.html
Your images are beautiful. I especially love the last one.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to warmer days! I do hope the fire is put out quickly.
ReplyDeleteLove your cooling water photos Jill. I love summer but I do not like it when the heat gets anything over 30 degrees. We have high humidity here in Queensland which makes it even worse. On the plus side I do live near the beach and normally we get a lovely cooling sea breeze in the late afternoon or a thunderstorm with rain to cool things off. It's difficult to judge which is worse - humidity or dry heat.
ReplyDeleteGlorious sunset! Thank you for linking in with "Through My Lens".

Beautiful! The colors are what I remember most of "your" Australia!
ReplyDeleteWow that sounds hot, think i'd be with those birds in your second shot - beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNow that doesn't sound pleasant! Loved those cooling photos you showed us though - hope it cools down a bit for you soon!
ReplyDeleteI need all of this right about now! Only one more month of winter left for us!
ReplyDeleteThe bushfires have been so bad this year, I'm glad the latest has been downgraded. I love water photos, it's been very hot in Townsville too and the humidity is extreme.
ReplyDeleteVery calm and serene images. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are officially in summer, so, I understand the heat. Here in California, is winter but we are having a heat wave too. We are about 28 degrees Celsius (which can be considered perfect weather). So, it is a beach going kind of weekend.
ReplyDeletePlease, please send us some heat! Without factoring in the windchill, we're in the single digits here this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love your cooling photos. Very calming. Hope your computer is working better now.
Oh that is tooooo hot, I hope the heatwave has broken by now. Your photos of water are very soothing, I especially love the pelicans.
