Sri Lanka cooking show - SBS Australia

I love this cooking show - so interesting - and the recipes always look so devine!
I just had to post the link - mysrilanka

Look for it on your TV program - not just a cooking show but a very interesting cultural tour around Sri Lanka as well!

I really want to try this recipe that was on last night - Lagoon Prawns with ladies finger sambol -
Lagoon Prawns - it looks like a delicious summer recipe.

When I have cooked it I will come back with a pic!

The Rose

The rose is the enduring symbol of love and friendship. It is also like the circle of life. It starts as a tiny bud that gradually unfolds, grows, changes, evolves, and then blooms to display its full potential and radiance. Just like our lives - as we grow and are nurtured, we gently unfold and reach the potential of our full bloom. Each step is precious and beautiful. As we look at the rose we can see on the outside that petals that have already evolved but in the centre is the life that is still to come to us if we open up our hearts and minds. When I photograph the rose I seek to capture its perfection and the inner beauty and promise of what is to come. Petals on the Water and Dragon Boating

In April 2005 Crewsaders Dragons Abreast Bunbury was formed in Bunbury Western Australia. They joined the Perth Amazons and hundreds of women across Australia as part of Dragons Abreast Australia, and part of a world wide organisation for survivors of beast cancer, who are paddling dragon boats and showing there is life after breast cancer. As a dragon boater since 1990, I am privileged to have been on the inaugural organising committee and coach of the Crewsaders. The Petals on the Water ceremony remembers those who have lost their lives to breast cancer.
